VIKING REFERRAL PROGRAM
Step 1: Recommend our career opportunities to someone you know that would like to join our team.
Step 2: Notify Human Resources by completing the Referral Form at the same time the employment application is submitted though WECAN.
Step 3: Receive $100.00 for each eligible referral.
After 5 referrals, receive $150.00 for each eligible referral.
Referral Program Information:

All Mount Horeb Area School District employees, except Administrators, Human Resources personnel, and managers with hiring authority over the referred candidates, are eligible for the referral bonus.

The referral date cannot be earlier than the date the job opening is posted. The hiring of a referred employee must occur within 90 days (three months) of the initial referral date.

The referral must represent the candidate's first contact with the district. Regular scheduled positions and substitute positions posted are eligible for the referral bonus. Temporary, summer, co-curricular, and current/former employees of the district are not eligible candidates for the referral bonuses.

To be eligible for the referral bonus, employees must refer candidates to Human Resources by completing the Referral Form at the same time the employment application is submitted through WECAN.

The first employee to refer a candidate will be the only referring employee eligible for payment.

Only candidates who meet the essential qualifications for the position will be considered.

All candidates will be evaluated for employment consistent with company policies and procedures.

All information regarding the hiring decision will remain strictly confidential.

All referral bonuses (subject to applicable taxes) will be paid in one installment after the employee has been active on the payroll for six (6) months from their start date or a substitute that has completed 20 days within six (6) months.

The referring employee must be employed by the district at the time of payment to receive payment of the referral bonus.
