Literacy: Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) is a comprehensive elementary English language arts program grounded in the science of reading.  The K-5 curriculum provides rich content and diverse knowledge in the social sciences, literature, science, and the arts.  Students in grades K-2 are provided direct instruction on both the "Skills" and "Knowledge" components of the program for 60 minutes each.  Student in grades 3-5 receive 90-120 minutes of instruction with a combined skills and knowledge focus.   The scope and sequence can be found here.

Math: The Bridges in Mathematics curriculum is composed of three distinct but integrated components: Problems & Investigations, Work Places, and Number Corner.  Each component works together to deepen students' understanding of mathematical concepts while offering the practice of procedural skills and strategies to solve complex problems.  Learners are actively engaged in a process of meaning and knowledge construction as opposed to passively receiving information.

Science: The elementary science curriculum blends content and materials from two resources: Science A-Z and Mystery Science.  Each resource offers lessons and resources that complement the Next Generation Science Standards crosscutting concepts and science practices.  The combination of these resources allows students to “do” science by exploring science concepts through an inquiry process.

Social Studies: The elementary social studies curriculum is teacher developed and focuses on a student’s growing realization of their place within their community.  At the earlier grade levels, students learn about who they are and their place within their local community.  As students transition to upper elementary, they begin to learn about other cultures, geographical locations, and peoples.

English Language Arts and Reading: Collections is the counterpart to the elementary program Journeys.  Students learn to determine and utilize textual evidence while analyzing complex texts, both fiction and nonfiction.   They then learn to craft written and oral responses to perform tasks related to the text.

Middle School Math: Teachers and students utilize Great Minds Eureka Math² series for middle school mathematics.  Depending on math ability, students may enroll in Math 6, Math 7, Math 7/8 Math 8, or Algebra I (different resourced called Glencoe Math) during their middle school career.  Student acceleration decision rules can be found on the Advanced Learning webpage.

Science: Smithsonian STC Middle School kits offer students an inquiry-based approach to understanding and applying science.  Students begin lessons with investigations that pull them into science as they begin to understand the “science” behind the investigation.  Only after students are engaged in the "science" do they then begin to learn about the concepts, vocabulary, and other factual information.

Social Studies: Students in middle school begin to explore the geography, history, cultures, and peoples of our nation and the world with National Geographic Learning.  Students in grades 6 and 7 focus on world cultures and geography--grade 6 places an emphasis on the regions of the Eastern Hemisphere (portions of Europe, Russia, Africa, and Asia), and grade 7 focuses on the regions of the Western Hemisphere (North and South America, Russia, portions of Europe, and Australia).  The focus then transitions to U.S. History in grade 8 where history is approached in a linear fashion starting around 1600 and working through the Progressive Era in the early 1900s.  Throughout the year the curriculum covers colonization, the US Revolutionary War, the US Constitution, the Holocaust, the US Civil War, post-Civil War Reconstruction, Immigration, and labor reform.  The peoples, movements, and wars that shaped our nation are interwoven throughout.
