Interested in becoming a substitute for the Mount Horeb Area School District?

We are seeking outstanding substitute teachers and substitute support staff. We offer a streamlined substitute assignment experience through the system Absence Management, great students, supportive Administrators, and employees ready to help if needed.

Our substitutes tell us that they feel safe subbing in our schools and frequently comment on how great our students are. If you don't believe us, we'll gladly have you speak with one of our current substitutes.

Qualified Substitute Teacher candidates must have or be able to obtain a valid substitute license (potential reimbursement for application fee-inquire with Human Resources) in the State of Wisconsin to be a licensed substitute teacher. We'll be happy to guide you in the licensing process.
