The Above & Beyond Excellence Endowment
Empowering Educators. Inspiring Students.
Great schools are built by people who do more than what is expected.
The Mount Horeb Area School District, in partnership with a generous anonymous family, created The Above & Beyond Excellence Endowment to celebrate the educators and staff members whose extraordinary commitment leaves a lasting impact on students.
Every day, members of our school community find ways to go above and beyond—creating meaningful learning experiences, inspiring students to grow, building connections, welcoming others, and strengthening the culture of our schools. This endowment provides an opportunity to pause and recognize that work.
Each year, two MHASD staff members will be selected for this special recognition. In addition to the honor itself, recipients receive funding to invest directly back into their classrooms and learning spaces, extending the impact of their work to the students they serve.
